It's that Autumn time of year again, that time of year for deep rich shades in all things. I start to see the leaves turn golden yellows, rich browns and russet reds and suddenly I feel the urge to blend in with Mother Nature. It's time to dig out the red and I mean red lipstick. Of course no one can wear red lippie without that added security of red lip liner and a base nude or semi nude lipstick. I prefer to wear a nude underneath both the Red topper and liner.
I have the niggle that before I buy a colour I like to see the colour, especially if it's going on my skin.
I'm not one of those people who go for expensive make-up or brand names. It needs to be decent so as not turn your skin green or bring you out in a rash, but at the same time it needn't break the bank either. The brands I use the most are Rimmel or Mac. At the moment the Kate Moss London Look by Rimmel who have a new line out called, funnily enough, 'Kate'. The lipstick of the moment is shade Red 01. It is the signature red of the Rimmel season.
